1月11日，NBA官方公佈了2019年全明星二輪的投票結果，德里克-羅斯以1986840票的得票高居西區後場第二。
票數公佈之後，在灰狼的官方微博上發佈了一則影片，羅斯專門感謝了球迷對他的支持，雖然這段影片只有短短的幾秒鐘，但羅斯誠懇地用中文對球迷說：“非常感謝！”
